Fix leaks in a vinyl liner without a patch.
Nitrile rubber-based sealant provides a strong adhesive bond to most any material found around the swimming pool...even vinyl. Squeeze from the tube directly onto the material to be sealed.
Flexible Sealer will skin over in seconds allowing it to be flattened with a wet finger. Cures and remains flexible in minutes to hours depending on application thickness.

Due to many Email inquiries about repairing air mattresses and blow up toys, I tried the Flexible Sealer on a blow up toy. I punched a pin hole in the toy and damaged the seam. It worked great and sealed both holes and the toy held air even with my daughter’s abuse. When using on a blow up toy, let most of the air out and let the Flexible Sealer dry, I waited 6-8 hours before refilling.

This product also works with vinyl patching, unlike vinyl patch glue that is very undependable working underwater, it is easy to use.
I have used vinyl patches in the back side of the liner, using the flexible sealer to hold the patch and then put a small bead on the water side.
I have also used a small vinyl patch on a larger hole that was not supported by the wall and the vinyl sealer was being sucked into the hole, in this case I used a small piece of vinyl in the water side of the pool and used the flexible sealer as a vinyl glue. I then used the flexible sealer around the patch edges, which will keep the patch on, unlike vinyl glue.
Flexible Sealer is a must for a swimming pool/spa service tech. as I also put flexible sealer on the threads of fitting when doing major or minor plumbing. I use teflon tape and put a bead of flexible sealer on the PVC threads, this eliminate drips and if the fitting is wet, it still seals. This is much better than using silicone caulking as the fitting must set dry before starting water flow.
If you have a new pool or used pool, Flexible Sealer is a nice insurance product to have available in case yourv pool springs a leak. As long as pools have ladders, cleaning equipment, and kids playing in a pool, leaks will happen.
