Phototransistors
WILL SWITCH LED'S WITHOUT
ANY OTHER CIRCUITRY
This transister switchs on and off with the presence or
absence of light.
It will switch sufficient current to light nearly all LED's
Simple, easy, cheap, effective, robust, nearly foolproof
but it does not turn all the way off and so for solar powered lights,
it does waste some power unless you use it in the circuit below.
