This unique mini crock appears to be handmade by a child artist. The outside is glazed black and the inside is glazed a forest/olive green. The bottom is marked "Joseph Kraker 3" The engraved name is also glazed inside, but the last four letters/numbers are just carved. There is no date. I don't see any chips, cracks or repairs. The whole piece measures 4-1/2 - 5 inches across and about 3-3/4 inches tall. I assume this piece is Minnesota made as it was purchased in Minnesota at an estate sale - I would guess that this piece was made by the woman's grandson.
It's a nice piece, surely one-of-a-kind. You could use it as a crock, flowerpot, vase, vanity item, change holder, cereal bowl, pen/pencil or other writing utensil holder, or maybe a really big mug! Use your imagination!
This item came from a mixed lot at an estate sale, so this description is to the best of my knowledge. Please ask questions before you bid.
I accept Paypal only! Insurance is optional and only available within the US. Please take a moment to see my other auctions. Thank you for looking and have a wonderful day!
