The Studio Display (pictured below) was my first flat-panel LCD and I used it as a second monitor while retouching in Photoshop. Shortly after the 3-year Apple Care warranty expired, the top light-tube lost full luminance. I took the display to Apple Soho to get a repair estimate and I felt they wanted too much money to replace the failing light tube. I'm told there are people who charge much less to replace these tubes (replacements are common) but I don't know any of them. I decided to purchase a new monitor.
My Studio Display still works well and can be used for other things like reading and data processing because the top bulb is simply dimmer. However, this display (in its current state) cannot be used for Photoshop. Apart from needing a light-tube replacement, my Studio Monitor is in excellent condition. I was perfectly happy with its performance throughout the time I used it.
The screen on my display has never been touched by bare hands. No body oil has ever come close and only leading optical cleaners have been used to clean the screen. I'm the only person who uses my workstation. There are no scratches or dead pixels. My studio is smoke-free and very clean, with weekly housekeeping service. As I said, I was perfectly happy with my Studio Display and I took great care of it.
Maybe someone in eBay-land can fix it and make good use of it. It may have many more working years left.

- All products on auction are coming from zip code 10003 in NYC, unless indicated otherwise. Approximate weight of each item (packed) is listed in each ad. Regretfully, emails from bidders asking for precise postage calculations cannot be answered until each auction is over.
- FedEx Ground is typically less than UPS for Home Delivery. Due to the increased costs of FedEx and UPS, each item will be shipped via U.S. Postal Service (USPS) and the items will be sent Parcel Post (whenever possible) with Delivery Confirmation. Please note: Parcel Post shipments to the West Coast can take up to 10 days, depending on weather.
- Winning bidders are encouraged to request another shipping service but the request must be emailed to me immediately, before my eBay Invoice is sent to you. I prefer FedEx Ground but winning bidders must decide if they wish to spend more for shipment security. All winning bidders are responsible for shipping charges, regardless of the service chosen.
