It is probably from the late 1940's-1950's and is made out of some sort of hard plastic. The mold was obviously pulled from a hand carved original wooden frame and the tool marks are evident. The details are crisp, and during the years it hung on my dining room wall no one ever suspected that it wasn't the real thing. It has a very heavy plate glass mirror in it that is nice and clear and does not render a distorted image as thinner glass can. It measures about 58-1/2" by 33". Look at the pictures. The last one shows it on a very large three cushion leather sofa so you can get a feel for the size of it. Local pick up here in Bradenton Florida is preferred since it so big and heavy. I won't ship it but I will deliver it to the local ship and wrap store free of charge and the winning bidder can deal with them on the shipping. Selling As-Is. | |
