                        Legend has told us that The Lady Of The Lake was the foster mother to Sir Lancelot, and that she raised him beneath the murky waters of her lake. She was best known for presenting King Arthur with his magical sword Excalibur; and also as one of the nine water- nymph muses. This beautiful wall mirror was sculpted in relief to resemble The Lady Of The Lake as she may have looked floating underwater, with her long golden hair flowing upward, and  the cascades of her dress forming a functional handle below the mirror. She clutches a large rhinestone ''jewel'', and there is antique style delicate beading enclosing the entire perimeter of the frame.
