This adapter is needed for the airport card to be used on an imac G3 to connect to internet wirelessly. This adapter is missing the holding strap, but it has been tested and work perfectly without it. Slots on the side of the airport card hold it stable in the adapter, as long as you do not toss or shake your imac this will be sufficient to hold the card in place.
