The one on the top of the picture is 31 inches long, it has a connector at the bottom to pass the copper lightning rod cable thru it. The bottom one is 36 inches long, including the removable tip at the end of the rod, this one also has a connector to run the copper cable thru it. This tip is easily removable and can be placed on either lightning rod. The bottom lightning rod has a steel collar with set screw on it, because of this steel ring there is surface rust along one side of the rod. I do not believe this rust affects the performance of the lightning rod. Both rods show normal discoloration and are sold "as is". I am not an expert in lightning rods but both these rods appear to be very usable. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. | |
