This is a brand new , beautiful chrome plated large Bb pitch Flugel horn is made of fine quality brass, it has a highly polished look, a good quality mouthpiece and comes with a free case. It has three valves to generate very strong and loud melodies with orchestra , jazz , marching and symphonic bands. Its versitality is such that it can be played quite softly to suit a more lyrical style or as a solo instrument to accompany the piano.
This flugle horn has been hand built to very high standards, using good quality components and materials. Special attention has been given to the main tuning slide assembly, which gives an uninterrupted airflow from the mouthpiece to the valve section. This gives the instrument an easier blow with a greater projection without the extra effort. The valve fingering is beautifully provided with mother-of-pearl inlays for long life and good looks.
The flugle horn is a lonely instrument; the brass band usually has only one in a regular ensemble since it plays similar to a cornet. A careful inspection will reveal that the flugel horn's tubing diameter increases much more rapidly than a cornet's, so that the sound wave expands quickly as it travels from the mouthpiece to the bell. As a result, the flugle horn has a dark tone quality that is an effective bridge between the cornets and the still darker, lower pitched instruments, such as the tenors.

These trumpets are the result of 3 years work with professional brass band players throughout Southern California with one objective in mind: Take a hand-made Asian (India which has long history and expertise of making western instruments) instrument and improve the design and overall quality to a level that will make it an excellent instrument for both a beginner/ intermediate player.
One of the things we kept hearing about the inexpensive instruments found all over eBay was that the sound was stuffy, leaked air, they were hard to blow, they weren't in tune with themselves and that they would actually get in the way of a student trying to learn. Paypal is our preferred mode of payment which works free of cost for you as a buyer.

IMP NOTE : We do NOT accept personal cheques and cannot not ship cash on delivery (COD) internationally.

Extra Charges/ Duties
IMPORT DUTY - There are sometimes import duty & taxes payable for a item bought from us internationally which is payable by you, the buyer DIRECTLY - such levies are sometimes applied for these single item, low value purchases as well which depends on your winning bid value and on your country's custom's authorities and rules. Quantum of import duty depends on your country's laws although in most cases they are 20-30% of item value plus taxes in Europe. Australian customers usually pay 15-20%. There are no import duties in USA for single item purchases.

We ship worldwide. Shipping charges are clearly given in each item listing individually.
You can verify these shipping costs from India to your address from reputed couriers in your country.
We do not ship COD nor can we ship by different carriers than our own tried and tested carriers such as DHL, USPS, etc. We cannot ship items on freight payable by consignee directly.
