STAR TREK I: “OPERATIONS DIVISION – LIEUTENANT’S RANK STRIPS”
A pair of matching division-rank strips like those appearing in Star Trek I: The Motion Picture on Starfleet officer’s uniforms. The items are black felt backings with yellow colored fabric and gold thread embellishments indicating the wearer to be a ‘lieutenant’. Items like these appeared on the shoulders of class-B, C, and D uniforms and were worn by characters like “Uhura” (Nichelle Nichols).
