MORE INFO ABOUT UNIQUE JAPANESE MOVIE PROGRAMES

Japanese Movie Programs compliment your Movie collection and are loaded with great pictures you won't see anywhere else of your favourite film or actor. There is no better way to relive the magic of that film than in those very pages. Most programs have about 28 pages, many in colour with cast & staff credits among other information. Though mainly in Japanese, there is always some english text but you will mainly want them for the eye catching photos anyway.

While programs in the US were few and far between, they remained very popular in Japan mostly in the mid 1960's and throughout the 1990's. They offered the movie-goer a chance to review the film plot and familarize themselves with characters as foreign films were in english.

Though still printed for some films today, thier days are probably numbered. With the higher cost of printing and with more Japanese movie-goers understanding english, their is just less interest. The average cost now in theatres is about $10 (nothing is cheap anymore).
