The All New
LIMESCALE GOODBYE
More Performance at less Cost.
We know times are financially hard for our customers so we have been scouring the globe to get a better product at a lower price. We have achieved that with our new Gas Miser which has a 16.6% increase in gauss strength and is 30% cheaper than the unit it places.
The unit comprises 2 halves and 2 cable ties.
This is our no nonsense, great value magnetic water conditioner.
Did you know that limescale left by hard water can increase your fuel bills by up to £130 per year? Did you know that limescale shortens the life of your boiler and washing machine? Did you know that hard water increases your use of detergents, fabric softeners, shampoo, bath and shower products?
In 1998 the US Bureau of Standards published a report into the effect of limescale on energy use and the effectiveness of magnetic water conditioners on the removal and inhibition of limescale build up. This report states that just 0.9375 cm of limescale in water pipes leads to a 55% increase in energy use. To put this into context, this equates to an additional cost of £130.00 per annum for hot water and heating in a three bedroom property in the UK
Limescale Goodbye will inhibit the build up of new scale but will also work to slowly reduce existing build up.
What it's made of
It is a Neodymium Iron Boron (NdFeB) magnetic assembly. Each half is made up of a yellow plastic shell in which a neodymium N38H grade block and a mild steel plate is fitted. The mild steel plate has the effect of focusing the magnetism downwards into whatever it is attached to. Each block has reads 3500 Gauss in the centre of the plastic shell. The neodymium block has then been coated to protect it because of its' iron content which, as we all know, rusts if exposed to wet or damp conditions.
We have used Neodymium Iron Boron (NdFeB) because it is the strongest magnetic material available capable of lifting approximately 1000 times its own weight by magnetism alone. Furthermore NdFeB magnets are permanent which means that the magnetism is never lost providing that it is not exposed to temperatures greater than 80°c. Most NdFeB magnets start to demagnetise at this temperature and demagnetisation is total at 120°c. However, this unit has an H grade magnet which means that it operates at higher temperatures and does not start to demagnetise until 120°c. Interestingly, a NdFeB magnet loses about 2% of its’ magnetic strength in the first 20 years of being magnetised but after this it does not lose any. This does rely on the protective coating remaining intact since rust will also cause a loss of magnetic strength.
Fit it without any DIY skills
The Limescale Goodbye is curved and will fit on to pipes of up to 1 inches/30 mm in Diameter. Simply secure it to the pipe with the cable tie provided. If you move house or have work carried out on your plumbing you can cut/remove the cable tie and re-fit it using the same or a new cable tie (available for most DIY stores). Full fitting instructions are supplied with each Limescale Goodbye.
How and why it works
Recent research suggests that the magnetic field causes the atoms within the molecules to have very slightly different angles between them which makes them less 'sticky'. Attach the Limescale Goodbye around the mains water pipe, the boiler water inlet pipe, or on the hot or cold water tank inlet pipes and the magnetic fields which are generated excites the calcium and magnesium carbonates in the water flowing through the plumbing. This stops the limescale crystals from sticking on the inside of the pipe or on the heating elements in your washing machine or hot water tank. Instead, the limescale forms low density, and almost invisible, ‘snowflakes’ which flush through your pipes.
What happens once it's installed
The limescale particles which have already formed within the plumbing will be flushed straight through so the water may appear cloudy. However, the chemical composition of the water is unaltered so it remains safe to drink and bathe. You will be able to start reducing your detergent use over the first few weeks until you are using the soft water amounts recommended by the manufacturers. You will find that shampoo, bath and shower products produce more lather and, therefore, you can reduce the amount used. Over time existing build up will be reduced.
Fit in different places to get different results
Fit above the stopcock - cold water in the kitchen will be conditioned benefitting the washing machine (when it's attached to the mains) and the kitchen sink. There will be a reduction in the amount of detergents and fabric softeners required and a reduction in the amount of anti-limescale products needed. The benefits will extend to the cold water tank and may also be seen in the cold water in other rooms within the house.
Fit on the water inlet or outlet pipe at the boiler - the central heating water will be conditioned prolonging the life of the boiler and helping to reduce scale build up in radiators.
Fit on the cold water tank inlet - the cold water in the bathrooms and the rest of the house will be conditioned, there will be a reduction in the amount of shampoo, bath and shower products needed, and a reduction in the anti-limescale products required.
Fit on the hot water tank inlet - all the hot water in the house will be conditioned. There will be a reduction in the amount of anti-limescale products required and in shampoo, detergents, bath and shower products. The life of your hot water tank will be prolonged.

Still think it's too good to be true?
This is what just some of our satisfied customers had to say about the magnet:

I work in the Science Dept of a Further Education College. Our still for producing distilled water is on for several hours a day most days of the week,The still holds 3 litres of water and is heated by a 3 KW element.
As you can imagine it doesn't take long for not only the element, but also the bowl and condenser to become encrusted in Limescale. This means we frequently have to descale with acid, then flush the bowl through with fresh water.
I have placed the magnet on the mains feedpipe and it is already obvious that the scale is not sticking to anything, just staying suspended in the water.Hopefully this will save us a lot of time and money in the future.

Hi,Please feel free to use all or part of this message in your listing. To cut a very long story short I have a 7 year old combination boiler which has caused no end of expense due to limescale damage. A couple of weeeks ago I took a service contact out with British Gas who advertise to repair boilers but omitted to tell me that limescale damage was not covered. The water was only coming out luke warm, if warm at all, and the engineer advised my best option, rather than keep throwing good money after bad, would be to get a new boiler. That is when I noticed your Limescale Goodbye and as the quote for a new boiler was a couple of thousand pounds I thought it well be worth a try. I fitted it this morning on the hot water inlet pipe which is near the heat exchanger. I immediately noticed a difference and the water started to come out looking chalky, obviously clearing the limescale. Several hours later I have scolding hot water which I didn't ever think possible. Thank you so much.
