EASY RIDER: THE COMPLETE SCRIPT

This auction is for a paperback book, EASY RIDER: The Script published by Signet Books in 1969 and written by Peter Fonda, Dennis Hopper, and Terry Southern (who had just rocked the book world with his pornographic novel “Candy.”). This 191-page paperback is illustrated with black & white photos and color photos from the film.

In addition to the complete script to this landmark film, there are also articles about the film and its breakthrough soundtrack including an article from the film’s director and star Dennis Hopper as well as a reprint of a Rolling Stone interview with star Peter Fonda. In addition, you’ll find multiple photographs of the film’s real breakout star, Jack Nicholson.

Overall, I would say this book is in Very Good to Fine condition. The cover shows wear around the edges of the front and back cover (see scan) and on the spine. However, it is complete with the binding totally intact. The pages are off-white and supple.  It has been stored away for more than 30 years in my smoke-free home.
