WOOD CARVINGS - Two early-mid 20th c. hand carved wooden shorebirds. #1 - Plover with bent head, glass eyes and wooden beak. Painted brown feathers with beige body and green painted metal legs. Set on natural round wood base topped with shell and pebble surface. Stamped on bottom 'R.W.C.'. 6 5/8"H x 6 7/8"L. #2 - Tern with carved wings and open metal beak. White and brown painted body with white and black feathers, painted black eyes. Doweled natural wood base. 8 1/2"H x 5 1/2"W. Both pieces in fine condition with original surface, shrinkage crack on #1.
