DESK - Early 19th C. English free standing mahogany writing desk. Fold down brass hinged front with paneled veneer surface, oval inlaid center and leather writing surface. Floral papered back with wooden writing utensil section. Standing frame work with cross stretcher and double arched foot, inlaid banding on edge of top, frame work and foot, with brass lock and key, 44"H x 20"W x 18"D, old surface, some edge banding missing on foot and desk edges.
