Whenever possible, make sure this arrives before you start using your new Casio digital camera! This is the ultimate way to keep your screen like new and make sure it stays that way.
Also good for used cameras: Scratches that have formed on an LCD that wasn't protected are particularly annoying as they reflect the light in all directions when lit from behind, mixing up the colors from the pixels under and bordering the scratches. The microthin silicone layer will partially fill micro-scratches making them less apparent, reducing their appearance by as much as 60%. Also, once there are scratches, if not covered up, the surface will degrade faster as dust works it's way into them. So, new or used, protect your camera's LCD. You will benefit from higher resale value and more pleasant use.
Extend your camera's life, help the screen be more resistant to accidents, and increase your camera's resale value by keeping it's LCD like new!
3-LAYER ULTIMATE SPACE-AGE PROTECTION:
1. CONTACT LAYER (washable adhesive leaves NO MARKS and can be re-used as many times as you like)
2. RESISTANT, STRONG, THIN, PROTECTIVE LAYER
3. OUTER ANTI-SCRATCH LAYER scratch-resistant outer layer
This is not a cheap imitation. Made in Japan from first class, high-quality, space-age materials:
- High-transparency (99%) !
- UV protection and filtering
- Distortion free - you will not notice that the screen protector is on.
- Your LCD when turned on will appear just as it is normally.
- Protector can easily be removed, leaving NO residue, and can be washed in warm or hot water, and once dry, put back on (this is great, because you can remove grease and other residue, without risking getting water into your camera or damaging the LCD with too much pressure. Just attach a piece of tape to an edge and pull to remove LCD protector).

BEFORE YOU RATE SHIPPING AND HANDLING, PLEASE READ THIS NOTE: EBAY allows for the inclusion of a "reasonable" amount to cover fees and handling, without defining limits. Because of the low value-density of this product, the profit margins do not absorb the related eBay fees. So bear in mind that there is a shipping fee that I pay to import, and there are also 5 eBay fees as follows: a listing fee, a final value fee, a paypal fee, a paypal exchange rate fee, and a paypal fee to transfer the money back to my bank account... these 5 fees that a seller incurs add up to close to $5.00... add to that the stamp and envelope, and you will realize that not much is left to cover "shipping and handling". EBAY obviously feels that their multi-level fees are "reasonable and justified". So if you find that shipping and handling is a bit steep, don't take it out on the sellers: it would be more help to the community and more far-reaching if you took the issue of fees and monopoly abuse to your government's commerce department, since no one seems to be regulating this yet.

Questions & Answers
How does the screen attach to the camera?
Answer: In 3 easy steps, as follows:
1. First you clean the camera screen to remove all grease deposits and any dirt or dust - turn off camera, spray glass cleaner onto a cloth (not directly onto LCD) and wipe the LCD clean.
2. It ships with a shipping backing on each side. You remove the first partially (the on elabelled "peel of this backing before application"), and depending on your LCD size versus LCD viewable area size, you line up the edge of the screen protector with the edge of the area to be covered. Pressing on the screen protector with finger or thumb flat against the surface, you gradually remove the rest of the backing as you move your finger over it to make more of the surfaces mate. This method allows application without the need to use a flat plastic object afterwards to remove bubbles as none will have formed during application. This is how I apply mine and it works perfectly.
3. Once the screen protector is in place, peel off the second (outside) backing. That's it. You're done, and your LCD will remain as new.
Removal: In order to remove the screen protector for cleaning or changing it, you take a piece of adhesive tape, attach it to a corner, and lift. It will peel right off. The micro-thin silicone layer acts much like a suction cup and with simple atmospheric pressure the protector holds in place very firmly. It cannot be removed unless you lift it by a corner and peel it off. There are no glues, so no residue is left from removal.
Are there really any quality differences from one protector to another?
Answer: YES, major differences!
In an attempt to lower my costs and diversify my sources, I have ordered from other suppliers. What I have received was VERY disappointing! I was shipped bulk quantities of so-called protectors that are merely vinyl backings, the same as you see on electronics products to protect in packaging and that have to be removed before use! Others sent me ultra-thin sheets of plastic, so thin they would never protect the LCD against any object, and that are NOT triple layer like the ones I have sourced from Japan. Of course there is a price difference... there is also a price difference between nylons bought at the dollar store and a department store, there is a difference between a skateboard and an automobile... yes, the differences are immense.
A quality LCD protector is the investment protection for your camera, so get the best!
