My customers want to have the option to NOT insure an item, and I want to continue to offer this as an option. ANYONE not insuring their item will need to send me an email stating they understand the terms of sale. Specifically that if you do not purchase insurance and the USPS loses or damages your item the seller is not responsible, and the buyer is liable. Item will be well packed, please read my feedback.

THIS WEEK.....

I am selling a box full of architectural items including some wonderful old hardware knobs and doorknobs. I had forgotten that I even had these pieces, a box full. This is the end or second week of these auctions, and is the electric lamps, doorknobs and drawer knobs. I have more dolls and toys, some glass, just a nice assortment of quality parts and items. These are all estate items that I found packed away, great buys and an interesting assortment.

Make sure and check my other auctions every week, as you never know what you will find in the bleemelbuilding. Please remember I will combine lots to save on shipping whenever possible.

ITEM DESCRIPTION

This auction is for 1 of 3 different finials being sold this week. Great low starting bids, and I will mail 1, 2 or 3 finianls for the price of one. Please check my other auctions and see if you need more then one.

This finial is made from a heavy stone material that I originally thought was carved marble. I have found this material also called Alabaster. I am not sure what the difference is between Alabaster and Marble, so please check the picts and decide for yourself.

The color is a soft cream with a caramel swirl running through the piece.

There is an old repair, can see some glue residue where the two pieces were glued together. Could be how it was constructed, but selling it as an old, and nicely repaired, finial. I did not notice this when I took pictures, does not detract from the functionality of this piece.

There are the imperfections found in a piece of nature, not damage, making any crafted piece of alabaster/marble a unique one-of-a-kind piece, see picts.

This finial is approx. 1 3/4 inches tall. The diameter at the base is estimated to be 1 1/2 inches.

I am also including the metal frame that holds the shade up, while the finial secures it in place, see picts. This frame is approx. 12 inches tall, and approx. 5 1/2 inches at it's widest point.

There are no maker's marks found on this finial.

These pieces are considered in good condition for it's age, with the surface wear/dirt that you would expect, see picts.

The next picture shows the top of my table, and all the different architectural pieces being sold last week and this week. This week is the electric light pieces or the door knobs and/or drawer pulls. This auction is for the item(s) described above only. I will be happy to combine items to save on shipping, when possible.

Shipping :
I am not an expert at everything sold, and I do not pretend to be. All items are sold as-is described/photoed. I inspect them when I photo and take pictures of damage found. I inspect again when I list, and attempt to disclose any known flaws or imperfections.

If you see something not described, please let me know. The Description includes any the pictures, so please check them out carefully in case there is damage I missed.

Email all questions prior to the end of the auction, email before you bid. I post questions to the listing and you should check for new information added before bidding.

I normally ship using USPS or DHL Shipping, and zip code on file at ebay. For HEAVY packges(4 pounds or over) DHL is less expensive then UPS or USPS. I cannot ship, using DHL, to a PO Box. DHL Shipping is not an Ebay option on the item listing, so I have selected UPS Ground. DHL will be less then UPS, and can be calculated at their website www.dhl.com. Insurance(up to $100) is included in the DHL price, but not included in the USPS price. Please let me know if questions or if you would like me to calc DHL shipping for you.

I will combine items, if possible, for shipping. I can fit many prints in the same size/weight box. Please let me know which items you are interested in, and your zip code and I will calc whether combined shipping will save anything.

Shipment to international customers will require Shipping cost arrangements, always happy to ship international. ALL international items shipped as merchandise, NOT gifts.

I mail items usually every Wed. and/or Thurs., sometimes on Friday. If this is a present, and you need super fast delivery, pay with Paypal, and let me know you need item right away. Items paid with Paypal on Monday will be in the mailed that same week.

Insurance is extra, except for DHL's first $100, and is not required. Buyer assumes liability for lost or damage items. This means that if you do not insure and an item is lost or damaged the seller is not liable. If you are not willing to take the risk, then purchase the insurance.

I have a liberal return policy. If you buy it & don't like it, send it back for refund minus a restocking fee, if you comply with terms: Within two days of receipt, notify me that you want a refund. The item must be postmarked within five days of receipt. The item must be returned & received in the same condition in which it was sent. NO partial refunds/no shipping refunded. I will refund, if terms above met, within 5 days of receipt. Parttime ebayer/not online all the time/I will reply to all emails within 2-3 days maximum. TR

Payment :
1 - I will send an ebay invoice, usually within 24 hours of the end of the auction.

2 - Buyer to pay USPS Priority mail or DHL + $1.50 shipping/handling/delivery confirmation in US, unless other arrangements made.
