- Only some items can be ran as penny auctions and that is why they are so popular. The S&H quotes come directly from the wholesaler and is what I am charged for these items. It's not a lot of money & it's not worth the aggravation of bidders when they have not COMPLETELY READ THE AUCTION & then they go ahead and bid, have no idea how much the S&H is and then tell me they do not want to pay that much for S&H.
