Antique Georgian Oak Desk ca 1800

This beautiful antique Georgian oak desk has a rectangular moulded top above a pull out brushing slide / writing surface with a later green baize insert. The piece has one long drawer, a kneehole with cupboard and twin pedestals each with three graduating drawers with moulded edges and brass drop handles. The piece stands on shaped bracket feet, is a warm medium/dark oak colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
