I learned that newborns like to be swaddled, so that they feel comfy and warm just as they were in the womb. Swaddling helps newborns when they experience their moro reflex - where their arms and legs flail out. The swaddling keeps them together and Mom and Dad are left with a much happier baby.
I purchased these 5 swaddles to help us out with our new baby. They worked beautifully. They are easy to use and function well as a good wrap for baby when sleeping. Now that my little one is past his first three months, he no longer has the moro reflex episodes and does not need, fit in or want the swaddling anymore. I offer them for sale now. These pieces retail for about $10 each at Target and Babies R Us.
