Up for your consideration is this exceptionally nice vintage guide book from Starrett Tools, entitled “The Tools and Rules for Precision Measuring”. Copyright 1947 by the L.S. Starrett Company, Athol, Mass. This 4 ½ by 7 inch book is heavily illustrated, and runs 48 pages. It describes several types of measuring tools, how to use them, and lots of great tips. It has lots of pictures of Starrett tools in machine shop use. This is a terrific Starrett collectible that is also useful and informative. It’s in very fine condition – complete, tight and fully intact, with very minimal wear. We doubt that many have survived as well as this one. We always pack securely, and we always ship promptly.
