Antique Ball & Claw Foot Piano Stool-See All Photos!

Time Left: 0 Seconds |  | | For More Details: Click here | This is an original, antique ball & claw foot stool which sits at 19" high when the seat is all the way down, but swivels up to 24". The cast iron bracket attached to the seat & the swivel reads, "THE CHAS. PARKER CO. MERIDEN CONN". As you can see in the photos, part of the top of the seat is missing; it was glued to the to the bottom part of the seat (the seat being in 2 layers -the top layer is complete). Otherwise, it's solid & in good shape. You might want to refinish it. I bought quite a few old piano & organ stools many years ago, & wasn't concerned with what the seats looked like, as you can see from another of my photos what I did with these. I used to make all sorts of exotic stools using 100-150 year old cast iron implement seats, some just by re-working different types of old stools, & some I made from scratch. I could take a really beat-up old stool & make it look like a million bucks! (Excuse me while I blow my own horn!! Big Grin!)

My bottom line is that I ALWAYS want my buyers to be happy & feel good in every way possible about our business together!
If you don’t want to get aced-out on your bid by an electronic bidding service ( a “sniper”), within a few hundreths of one second before the auction ends, it would be wise to place your highest bid, i.e., the most you want to spend on an item, & you'll get bid-up, automatically. In that way, you can often beat-out the "snipers" by one increment of a bid -depending on what price range you're bidding-in -maybe $.25, $.50, $1.00, etc.- but may allow you to win without even reaching the maximum bid you'd posted before the end of the auction !!!
