Here is the story: I purchased these items at an estate sale. I paid $20 for everything. The man I gave the money to told me I was getting at least $100 worth of items. I know nothing about silver and silver plated items so I decided to put these items on ebay. I am starting the auction at a penny. If I get more than $20 I know I made a good purchase. If I get $100 or more I know this man knew what he was talking about. If I only get a penny or no bids at all, I know I got screwed. I am leaving it up to you.
This lot includes a two piece butter dish (the tray and the lid). Stamped on the bottom is "Trademark 1883 J.B.Rogers Silver Co. 1997"
Also included is an oval shaped serving tray with lid (measures about 12 inches X 10 inches). Stamped on the bottom is "ONEIDA SIVLERSMITHS".
There are also two little containers one with lid one without. Stamped on the bottom is a big H and "Ironware mad in USA".
There is also a big serving bowl that someone must of received as a prize. On the front it says "WINNER FRANK POWELL TOURNEMENT ----the person's name (I will not post it on this listing)---- 1960). On the bottom is stamped "GORHAM YC663". There is also three symbols, one looks like a boat anchor, one looks like the letter P or a flag, and the last one looks like a backwards D with an E coming off of the right side.
The last piece is my favorite. It is a 12 inch round serving platter. The engravings on it are beautiful. On the bottom of this one is stamped (W.M.Rogers MFG Co. 4271)
So, as you can see I know nothing about this stuff. What I do know is I will ship to the winning bidder within 24 hours of receiving cleared payment from paypal. I will try to ship the same day if I can.
