I have used this bait for a couple of years now and caught many fish on this bait from the Ozark Streams that I fish. I remember the first outing using this bait.
“I had been fishing in one of Missouri’s state park fisheries and came upon a deep blue hole w/ a large shadowy figure lurking near the bottom. There had been many fisherman walk past that location that day unable to detect the behemoth fish that lurked below the ripple of the surface. I like many others nearly walked past this fish, but as I was drifting the bait through the hole, I notice a slight movement. I couldn’t believe my eyes. If the shadow that I noticed was a fish, it was nearly 30 inches long. I was fishing an EB’s EZ Egg w/ an olive EZ worm dropper. This is my favorite way to fish these baits. The EZ Egg is visible and acts as both an indicator and an attractor to the fish. Well, on the last drift, I notice the EZ Egg drift near and past the nose of the shadowy figure. I saw a slight movement as the behemoth flared his gills to draw in the worm with very little effort. At that time, the EZ Egg stopped drifting and I new the beast had taken the bait. I picked up my rod tip, and the fight was on…… ".
I remember that moment every time I tie this bait.
