Collector Dish African-American Golfer Charlie Sifford?
This a small dish 4" in diameter made by Deland Studios in 1962.
It depicts an African-American golfer who just may be Charlie Sifford,
the first black golfer to join or I guess allowed to join the PGA tour
full time in 1961.
It is in perfect condition with a gold trim around edge and hand-
painted figure.
I assume it is porcelein and would be a great collector's item for
a golfer or an African American.

emailed me and said that this plate was made to honor Pete Brown, the
first African American to win a PGA event.
