Overview

The DVR-115D DVD/CD Writer supports 20x write speeds on both DVD-R/+R along with the capability to write at 10x speed on DVD-R/+R dual/double layer media. The Quiet Drive Technology reduces the noise level of audio and video playback while also delivering increased writing reliability. Liquid Crystal Tilt/Blur Compensator plays and records to discs more reliably - the Pioneer technology that compensates for warped discs. Dual/Double Layer (DL) recording provides nearly twice the capacity of a single layer recordable DVD-R (8.5 Gbytes vs. 4.7 Gbytes). Available in black, beige, and silver.

Mac OS System Support

• This drive is 100% compatible with your G3, G4 or G5 PowerMac, Mac Pro, eMac, or iMac G4 (Flat Panel) system with an IDE interface and running OS 9.1-9.2, OSX 10.2 Jaguar, 10.3 Panther, 10.4 Tiger or 10.5 Leopard. Some older systems will not be able to burn discs at full speed due to a slower system bus or IDE bus. Highly recommended for any G4, G5 or Mac Pro system.
• This drive is a plug and play device with OS X 10.4 and later. If your Mac previously had an Apple supported DVD writer in it, this drive should automatically be recognized. If not, you just simply re-install your OS (appox. 30 minutes). Your Mac will remain unchanged with all settings, software and data staying the same with the exception of the SuperDrive now being recognized.
• If your iMac G4 is not flat panel (but flip door or other style), you have to rip the face plate off this new Pioneer drive. The face plate is the piece with the logos for DVDs and CDs on it. To do this, first remove the drive from your computer. Next, use an unfolded paper clip in the small hole found under the drive tray, on the front of the drive. This will manually eject the tray. Since the thin plastic piece is just clipped on, put your thumbs under this piece, and press firmly upward. You may have to pull the piece slightly forward, but you should not have to force the piece off. The piece should slide off, and you can close the disc tray and reinstall the drive.

• For replacement, merchandise must be returned within 30 days of receipt unless it's advertised differently and in the original packaging accompanied with a copy of packing slip or invoice.
• Merchandise should be carefully packed and insured for the full purchase price and shipped via traceable means.

Note: All packages are shipped with Delivery Confirmation or tracking number. We will be responsible for loss item during delivery if winning bidder paid for insurance.

DISCREPANCY:

Any disputes regarding the quantity of merchandise received by the Buyer must be reported and communicated to Seller in writing within 3 days from the date of delivery. After the 3 day period has expired, the Buyer agrees that Seller will not have to recognize any claims for merchandise shortages due to the Buyer's failure to accurately count when receiving the merchandise.

RETURNS ON DEFECTIVE AND/OR DAMAGED ITEMS:

• You must notify us within 7 days of receiving an item, Items returned will be tested by our professionals:
  
  1) If found defective: Buyer will be shipped a new replacement unit immediately.
  2) If found not defective: Item will be sent back to buyer.
   
  
RMA Authorization number must be obtained before returning any item and be on visible on the box or label it is being returned in. Items returned without RMA number may be refused and returned to the sender.
• Buyer is responsible for All Return Postage and Shipping Charges.
• Items received damaged or non-functioning (DOA=Dead-On-Arrival) will be exchanged by us at no charge.
• A replacement or refund will be issued after we receive the item. 
• Items returned must be in new condition with all original boxes, hardware, manuals & accessories. IF ITEM RETURNED FOR REPLACEMENT, PLEASE SEND BARE DRIVE ONLY WITH A COPY OF INVOICE.
• Returns may be subject to a 15% restocking fee EXCEPT DOA, or unless otherwise specified in the description of this listing.
