Item Description
You are bidding on one of five brand new Olympic mascot notebook with key chains. In the front, each notebook has one of the five 2008 Olympic Mascots. It has 160 pages inside with the five mascots printed on the bottom of the page. In addition it has a sticker page of the five mascots. The notebooks are 8.2 x 6 x0.3 inches or 21 x 15 x 1 cm. Each weighs ~ 230 g or 0.5 lb. You can bid one or more. The 2008 Olympic Mascots are the five Fuwa ("good luck dolls"). The Fuwa consist of five members that roughly correspond with the five elements of Chinese philosophy: water, metal, fire, wood, and earth. The Fuwa each have as their primary color one of the colors of the five Olympic Rings that stand for the five continents. The five Fuwa are named Beibei, Jingjing, Huanhuan, Yingying, and Nini. When the first syllable of each of the five names are said together, the result is the phrase 北京欢迎你 (Běijīng huānyíng nĭ) which means "Beijing welcomes you". I bought the notebooks in an official store in Beijing when I visited there one month ago. If you have any question, please let me know. Happy bidding! payment can be any of the following: PayPal, Personal checks, money orders, cashier's checks, certified checks, and other negotiable instruments. If personal check is used the item will be shipped in 7 days after receiving payment. Thank you.
