This is a 3 " by 3 1/2" cat figurine.
This is at least 35 years old.
It is a glass type substance, ceramic or porcilean.
There is a gold rectangular sticker that reads in black ink, made in Tawain
This item has a flat finish and I am unable to find flaws, there appears to be no paint loss or chips, nicks etc.

Ok, I am selling items "as is" and at a very low starting rate because of this. First off these items are old, they are not in new condition, there may be a lot of flaws due to age, some items have been repaired, if I can detect repairs it will be listed as to what and how I think it was done, some items are wore, if I can detect this I point it out, but I am no expert and do not have the training to evaluate all flaws and repairs. These are old, and have been used, and I am not an expert on the items I am selling. Please email me with questions about what you need evaluated more thoroughly. I will try and post the questions on the items so you and other ebayers could benefit from more information. Please feel free to ask more questions, get more measurements, need a specific picture, etc. ****Please note in the last 12 hours of the auction I am unable to add pictures and further descriptions. Measurements are done with a standard ruler and not a precise measuring device, so they are approximate measurements.
***(Note 1) I will not attempt to clean, manipulate items for fear of damage because I am not an expert, these items are old and I am not educated in handling of vintage items. I am not educated in the proper cleaning and materials for cleaning/restoration. Even though most items look clean, they are not perfectly clean since they have been in attics for years if not decades, and have dust on them. Many people who are experts have bought things of mine in need of repairs, because they know what they are doing, and I did state the item was in need of restoration or repair and I offered them at a low starting rate. I do not smoke, nor does anyone in my home. I have no control over the item once I drop it off at a shipping facility if it gets exposed to smoke.

Please I can't stress this enough, please read everything, if you do not agree with anything please do not bid. The ebay star rating system is not fair to sellers, so I have to be very clear. One 4 star rating on anything drastically reduces seller options and benefits, many long time sellers have left because of this. If there is anything you do not understand or need clarified please do not hesitate to ask. I am sorry I have to put so much in print. I have been getting marked down on communication for not responding to questions fast enough. I try very hard to check my email every 4 hours and still this is not fast enough, with the exception of the time I sleep, in that case response time will exceed 4 hours. I work more than one job and am unable to sit in front of the computer and get back to people within an hour.
Shipping:
First off the USPS has recently raised their rates on everything in the middle of May 2008, many have not realized this. I am using the ebay shipping calculator to provide the most accurate shipping costs. If you use one zip code and then ship to a higher cost area using another zip code, or correct your address if you have moved, the calculator calulates whichever zip code you put in. When your final invoice the ship to zip code is what is used.
If you are bidding on more items, please let me know, also if you have multiple items won, please send for an invoice so I can combine your shipment to save you money if feasable (read below). Please send for an invoice so I can adjust shipping where feasable. Read on further for feasablitity.
I will try to combine shipping on multiple listings won. So far all buyers I have had buy multiple auctions who have been charged one shipping fee (price for first item plus tracking/confirmation) on multiple items shipped. ***Note 3 (shipping combining exceptions) There are exceptions, as follows. If all items you win are all under $1.50 each, I will charge a 30 cent per item handling fee per item to combine shipping and offset my packaging costs. If combining items increases shipping weight and/or size, I will charge the total package weight, and/or size increase, plus one confirmation/tracking fee on that package. I will not charge additional shipping on items over $1.50 which do not increase shipping weight and/or the size of the package or can be shipped together safely. I go through great efforts to obtain the right size box so it is big enough to ship the item safely, and the smallest size that will ensure safe arrival so as not to increase shipping costs, but not so big so the item moves around thus increasing the chance of damage in shipment. I have a 100% safe arrival rate on shipping in boxes, be it oversized items, or very fragile breakable items. I have a substantially less success rate in shipping in bubble envelopes due to living on the Chicago border and them having them go through a huge processing facility where heavy magazines and other mail/magazines/boxes/mail bins/whatever has been put on it, the result has been the unbreakable has become mangled, smooshed, the packages tore, and other non favorable outcomes. That being said I will not ship in brand new padded or bubble envelopes the only exceptions are books PERIOD. If you feel that saving a couple of bucks is more important than your item arriving safely please do not bid, I don't care how many times you have recieved items in bubble wrap, if it is not a book please do not ask me to ship this way, the answer will be no. I will not give in and most likely your item will arrived in less than desirable condition, and you will be upset.
Please email and let me know if you are bidding on, or will be bidding on another current auction you want included in the same shipment, more often than not for no addtional charge ( see Notes 4 and 3). ***Note 4 (exceptions to combining orders and feasability) I will combine auctions to save you shipping when feasable, that is, if it does not compromise safe arrival of the items, or cause an oversized package which would be an outrageous fee to ship. If I can ship in an oversized package which are exponentionally more expensive shipped USPS. I will give you the option of UPS in these cases (items combined does not comprise safe arrival by combining items) Keep in mind UPS includes tracking and insurance in their costs. I try to ship things out the next available day the post office is open after a listing is won, depending on when you pay depends on where I ship from. I work one full time and two part time jobs. I ship on my lunch hour on my full time job, and going to and from my jobs. I ship from a few different Post Offices and UPS sites, so I can get your items out as soon as possible. So far I have never shipped out less than the next day, although I do not have control over the delivery time of the item once it leaves my hands, many have marked me down star ratings for shipping time. When items are shipped please keep in mind Holidays, and weekends cause a one to two day delay in delivery. Also keep in mind that if you pay for your auctions 5 days after winning and you don't have it when you thought you would/wanted you need to pay for your auction sooner. Many buyers who pay days after the auction is won, mark me down for shipping time without consideration that I WILL NOT ship out items before they are paid for.
More often than not, I ship out the day payment is made, from late hour Post Offices (7 PM) CST, UPS (7PM)CST, or the next morning from the early hours Post Offices (7 AM)CST, before my first job. I also charge for delivery confirmation/tracking and people have been marking me down for not charging exact shipping charges, but this is a cost added on, on top of shipping charges which people fail to add this amount in. Please keep in mind UPS does not ship on weekends, and that if I mail an item out either UPS or USPS before a weekend or holiday it will cause a longer shipping time.

Please allow extra time for me to fill out customs forms, comply with shipping per country (some countries do not allow styrofoam, certain plastics packaging etc)
I will only accept Paypal payments, I will require insurance, confirmation/tracking and a handling fee for my extra work on shipping and filling out custom forms. If you do not agree with any of this please do not bid. Please also note what can and can not be imported to your country, if you buy something I later find out after trying to ship it that it is not allowed, you will be charged a handling fee and your funds will be returned (with the exception of a handling fee).
About me.
I am in the process of selling things from all of my Grandparents estates. I do not know how old these items are. My grandfathers were both WWII veterans, my Grandmothers' brothers were also WWII veterans this may help give you an approximation of the age of the items. Grandparents used to keep things in attics, these items have been in attics for years if not decades.
I also have a son with a lot of medical bills I have been paying off, this has lead me to sell whatever I can to pay bills. I am not a rich person, I work one full time and two part time jobs and can not afford to give away items, buy all packaging materials and ship cheaper than what USPS or UPS charge.
I do have to pay ebay listing and selling fees on each item, and if you pay with Paypal they get fees based on all the money accepted, including shipping. Please keep in mind I start items at a very low rate, charge as close to exact shipping (using the ebay calculator, more times than not I have had to pay 30-60 cents above what is being charged) sometimes their calculator charges and extra 25-50 cents over actual costs, please be kind to me on shipping costs if you have to pay an extra 25 - 50 cents because of no fault of mine, I won't know until I ship the item. I will not refund this as I do not invoice people whose shipments exceeded the ebay shipping calculator costs, which happens more often than not. Please keep in mind that I add on a shipping tracking/confirmation on all shipments, or the USPS will not make any effort what-so-ever, to locate your package without it. UPS includes this in their fees. This is a protection for both the seller and the buyer to have a traceable record of shipping.
Again accept my apologies for all the things I must cover to insure a smooth transaction, and answer as many questions that have come up in past sales in advance. After doing quite a bit of selling, I can see why long term sellers must do this. I also realize buyers do not have any idea the costs and time involved with selling.
