The Cover call this book, "Guardian of the Christian Family Circle". It is extremely old showing a vol. 1/no.1 date of 1842! There are many extremely bright drawings of plants through out the book. They almost look hand drawn, don't know? Lots of etchings as well. I've shown you several of them. Their are Christian songs through out as well. It's 300 pages and almost 6" X 9". Pages are browning periodically. Hinging is good, cover is good except for the cover's spine had broken off from being brittle and has been repaired, looks a lot better now. Though this book is old and a bit worn, it is still good enough to be a reader book.
