ITEM DESCRIPTION: Auctioning off a reproduction of a French Boulle Louis XIV desk which is truly magnificent and stately. This desk features satinwood with burl walnut inlays through out, ornate bronze ormolu with heavy patina, restored leather insert with gold trim, massive and stately appearance. From the pictures it is clear that there is some veneer repair necessary, but very minimal and inexpensive to repair. (refer to detailed pics). Overall, the desk is in excellent condition for its age and would definately sell for much higher than my auction price (lol) at any high end antique shop. Without a doubt, an elegant and stately addition to any home.
