You can attach this solar panel directly to a 6V battery to charge it, no need for any additional circuitry (no need for a protection circuit).
Slow charging or Long time charging, there is no harm to the battery!
7.5V solar cell joined with a IN5817 Schottky diode (Voltage drops 0.2-0.3 V), the voltage will hit 7.1-7.3V.
If you need to charge a 12V battery, you can connect two panels in Series, combining the voltages:
2 x 7.5V = 15Volt 240mAh
When used in Parallel or Series you can achieve different voltages and current values.
