The Flexible
Pavement course is designed to teach you
design considerations of subgrade, base, and
surface for road, airfield, and heliports in
the theater of operation; and the design of
flexible pavements for frost conditions. The
course is presented in three lessons, each
corresponding to a terminal learning
objective as indicated below.
This course contains detailed information
about the types and uses of flexible
pavements; material estimation; design and
construction procedures, and the types and
uses of expedient paving surfacing.
