This Rapid Trim Saw is designed to automatically convey operator-loaded pallet boards to a high-speed, guarded, industrial saw blade. The machine utilizes adjustable stop bars to allow boards to be cut to a large variety of lengths. Boards are brought into the cutting area by three chains, while the belt-driven blade drive shaft continuously rotates the saw. Boards are held in place during cutting by a rugged brush assembly, which also acts as a safety guard to deflect ejected material. The electrical system uses 230/460 VAC - 3-phase power to supply the electricity necessary to operate the chain and blade motors, electrical circuits, fuses, greakers, and the control buttons, Most of the electrical components are housed in the junction box mounted to the side of the machine.
