Today I'm listing a beautiful ornate brass lamp/lantern. It reminds me of a Moroccan lantern, or of something out of Aladdin.
This is NOT one of the cheaply made knock off's.
It's reticulated, with holes pierced all throughout. It isnt electrified, but is a very decorative piece. I wish I could capture the detail better- but who ever gets this lovely lantern will be very happy.
I was told it may be Arab, Syrian, Persian or Turkish, but am uncertain of the origin. It's in great condition, no damage, just some aging, darkening throughout the fretwork.
There is a piece of brass chain attached to hang it up.

This appears to possibly have been electrified at one time- as it has a hole in the top finial, but is quite solid- I can't be certain.
It measures 22" long, not including the chain.
