Victorian Coffin Plate
19th Century
For your consideration: a silverplated shield-shaped coffin plate measuring 5 7/8" x 6 1/2". Plate reads "Edward Bailey died Jan. 6th 1871 Aged 78 years" and has a Masonic emblem at the top. Piece is in good condition, but there is some very minor loss to the silverplate and the piece is lightly dented in a couple of places. Still, a very interesting piece!
