ITEM DESCRIPTION:- For sale is an 18th century Delft tile decorated with ships, measures 5" x 5". This is just one of 36 18th century tiles I will be listing shortly, all have been reclaimed so will have some tile cement adhered to the back, most has been removed. Generous postage discount given for multi buys.
CONDITION REPORT:- In good condition, chip to bottom corner.
POSTAGE DISCOUNTS:- I am happy to discount postage if items can combined.
SECURITY:- I invisibly code my items before sending so please do not think of swapping returns - you will be caught out! I also retain all proof of postings.
U.K. BIDDERS:- Please pay within 7 days of auction ending. I accept cheques, postal orders etc. Regrettably, I can no longer accept Paypal due to dissatisfaction with the service they offer. Experience has taught me that Paypals claim of buyer & seller protection to be next to worthless as I am sure many of you out there are aware.
INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS:- I will accept Paypal or cheques in U.K. pounds. Please ask for other payment methods. It is in your interest to ask for shipping charges before bidding as some items can be very expensive to send. In the unlikely event of an item being returned, I am unable to cover the cost of that shipping charge.
ITEMS I SELL:- I am no particular expert in items I sell, if you require more information I will do my best to answer any questions.
POSTAGE:- The postage given is an estimate only as I do not pack until an item is sold. I leave all my parcels at the post office and settle up with them next day, therefore, I do not know the actual cost of posting until this point. I include a small charge for packing, handling, petrol etc. if you feel you have been charged too much please contact me. I cannot be held responsible for any mishandling or loss once the parcel is in the hands of a courier but I will assist fully should a claim arise. It is in your interest to ask for postal insurance, particularly if the item is in excess of £34.00.
RETURNS:- If I have made any serious errors in my description, of any item, I will refund in full providing the item is returned in the condition it was sent.
