Static Converters are for light duty hobby use at 2/3 power. Mostly for the weekend hobbyist.
New Static Phase Converter 1-5 Hp Heavy Duty. This our combination unit, switchable from 1-3 to 3-5. It is like 2 converters in 1. you can change from 1-3 to run smaller motor or go to 3-5 to run a larger motor. We manufacturer all of our units. Runs 1 motor from 1 horse power to 5 hp. Like milling machines, lathes, saws, drill press, grinders and other equipment. Heavy Duty model for more starts an hour and harder starting motors..The converter is installed before the machine on the power input side. Simple hook up just wire from your breaker to the static converter then over to your equipment. You do not have to take apart your equipment and wire the converter between the machine switch and the motor on your machine, like some the other converters. When you switch the machine on the auto starting circuit with Voltage sensing control starts the machine automatically.... Static Converters run Three-Phase motors on single phase power at 2/3 rated horse power. Standard static converters are for equipment that doesnt have much of a load at start up and few starts an hour. Heavy duty static converters are for machines that start more often and that have a bigger load on the motor, not a free wheeling situation. Choose the size for the motor on your machine. These converters ONLY run motors the size listed on the converter. These static converters are usually just for one motor or just one machine. Not for 2 speed motors, Welders, Pumps- water or hydraulic, Cnc Machines, Air Compressors or any machine that needs all three phases of power for the machine to work properly. For indoor use only.
