This saw is a real workhorse. Great for cutting up iron shapes, tubing, pipe, bar and roundstock. Has adjustable workstop for cutting multiple pieces of the same length.
The saw has a quick-change worktable to change from vertical use to horizontal use without tools.
Built in coolant system for fast cutting and long blade life.
Change speeds from 95 fpm for tool steel, stainless and alloy steel, to 140 fpm for cast iron, mild steel and hard brass, to 235 fpm for plastic, copper soft brass and aluminum
The saw has a custom counterweight system added that provides good horizontal cutting performance on most medium to light work, and makes changing from vertical to horizontal an easier task. The built in hydraulic speed control has been disabled, but can be reconnected with the addition of a simple bracket.
Cuts 7" x 9.5" with vise in normal position, cuts to 7" x 12" with vise in extended position
Cuts angles up to 45 degrees.
Vise has quick-set notches for rapid adjustment from small to large workpieces.
Comes with 5 cobalt steel blades, some new, some used.
Original operation manual included. Comparable saws sell new for around $1200.
