Pages are nearly pristine! Tightly bound inside of midnight blue embossed (thin) leather covers, (with cobalt/gold over teal marbled endpapers). Finely-detailed line drawings and photos FILL these magnificent leaves. Depicting all sorts of dress making including; collar making, use of weights, finishing silk, sewing embroidery edges, facing a neckline +++. Light cover dirt and faint wear to the tips are the only flaws to the outside of this 80-year-old original. A small dampspot to the bottom corner of the first few pages is the lone thing keeping the interior of this 5 1/2" by 8 1/4" beauty from perfection. That’s it! It’s 122 blue edged, heavy cream colored pages have no brittleness foxing dogears waving wrinkles rips tears mildew odor underlines marks or even a fingeredge smudge.
