I pulled this OPEN CAN laser diode from a 18X DVD burner. I do not have specs for it but the diode works perfectly. It looks closer to 640nM than 660nM because of the bright orange/red glow. Maybe I'm just used to the 'closed can' diodes. Good Luck!
