Missing Money (#1)

Amy Jo Ryan and her new neighbor, Becky Allison, deliver newspapers on their ponies, Ginger and Oreo. Mrs. Martin, a sick, elderly customer, discoveries that someone has stolen one hundred dollars from her purse. To make matters worse, Mrs. Martin can’t remember where she’s hidden her money box which holds her life savings. The girls draw up a plan to trap the thief…but will the thief trap the pony investigators instead?

Reflecto Man (#2)

A mysterious stranger wearing reflective sunglasses has moved into the old Johnston place. From the widow’s walk built on top of the house. Reflecto Man signals someone at the quarry. Amy Jo and Becky are convinced that he has teamed up with a man they suspect is a criminal. When they approach Officer Higgins with their suspicions, he is strangely reluctant to do anything about it. Against the police officer’s orders the two pony investigators return to the quarry where danger awaits them.

Circus of Fear (#3)

The circus has just come to the village of Bedford. A series of “accidents” has everyone who works there edgy and on guard. When Amy Jo and Becky land jobs giving pony rides at the circus they become involved in the mystery. Their investigation leads them through twists and turns chasing a clown who is a possible suspect. Later, their lives are placed in danger when a knife is thrown at them with a warning note attached to it.

The Phantom Stallion (#4)

The Pony Investigators secure a job a t Shamrock Stables cleaning out stalls for owner, Freddie Myers. Flash O’ Lightning, a valuable race horse, disappears in the middle of the night. The sensor at the end of the lane and the alarm system in the stall fail to ring when the horse disappears. It is as if Flash O’ Lightning vanished into thin air. A torn note leads to the early arrest of a suspect, but even after a thorough search of the area, the missing horse cannot be found. The Pony Investigators place themselves and young Charlie Myers in danger as they search for The Phantom Stallion.

The Secret Passage (#5)

While housesitting at the Funderbury home, Amy Jo and Becky discover a hidden door leading to a series of underground tunnels. Strange markings on the tunnel wall, visible only with a black light, lead them further and further into the passageways where the Pony Investigators uncover a fiendish plot. Before they can escape the tunnel to warn the police, the girls are caught in a trap where there seems no possible way to escape.
