Help!!

Hello, My name is Corey. I am 16 years old and I need help. I own a 2003 Ford Escort and my transmission just went. The dealership wont do anything about it because it is past the warranty period and the car has only 29,000 miles on it. The mechanic said because the car had sat so long before I bought it the old fluid wrecked it. I am new at this and I have to go back to school in 3 weeks. The cheapest estimate I got was for $750 for a rebuilt trani. It is tough to get a job around here because we are in a slow period. I have been doing odd jobs for neighbors and family friends but I still need a ton of money. I appreciate all the help you can give. This auction is for a letter of thanks from me.
