This auction is for Vivitar 2500 and 3500 thyrister flashes that provide auto exposure when using AE-1P, A1, T-series and F1n cameras. These are great performing flashes. One major problem - the contacts in the battery compartment will oxidize about once a month so you have to clean them essentially everytime you use them. I fixed my 285 by putting a drop of nickel-silver solder on the contacts. Easy to do on the removeable battery holder on 285 not so easy here so I have not done it.
