This is a set of two Film Shield bags manufactured by SIMA. These are in excellent condition, used only twice.

You can use these bags to protect your valuable camera film when traveling through airport security. X-rays are known to fog photographic film, ruining your valuable pictures before they are even developed! X-ray scanners at airports and other security checkpoints emit higher levels of radiation today than before 9/11. Camera film is much more likely to be ruined or damaged by these devices.

Film Shield bags are triple-laminated with lead foil sandwiched between a layer of tough, puncture-resistant polyester and a barium-impregnated black polyethylene liner. This protects photographic film against x-ray and fluoroscopic inspection devices used for air travel security. These bags are very durable and reusable.

The Film Shield bag is rated for film up to ISO 1000 and can hold up to 22 rolls of 35mm film or your loaded camera. They measure approximately 6" x 13" flat. According to the manufacturer, these bags can also protect medicines from x-ray damage.
