The solid brass is uncoated, allowing them to gain a beautiful antique patina over time. If this natural antiquing isn't wanted, it can easily be removed by a quick polish. This set is hand-crafted, please expect some variation and slight irregularities. These are not defects but show the uniqueness of your items. Item comes new in box.
