Razor mechanism hones and strops blade as you operate handle. Thousands of servicemen used these razors during WWII, but manufacturing ceased on them around a half-century ago. Great keepsake and conversation piece. I have shaved with it, but can't recommend it for daily use. This item has seen a lot of whiskers. The hone has a crack and the strop has obviously sharpened the blades many times. But you'll probably be the only one of your friends with a genuine Rolls Razor that still works. (Sean Connery used one in an old movie about Cuba.) | |
