This auction is for price per night - stay as long as you want (one night or a couple weeks. 8% tax will be added to auction price.
It takes time to get this far back in the Nez Perce National forest but it is a pretty trip any time of the year up the Southfork of the Clearwater River. Roads are kept in good condition through winter.
You are bidding on a 3 bedroom cabin located 5 miles north of Elk City, Idaho.
Steelhead fishing in the South Fork of the Clearwater begins late winter with Salmon and trout fishing beginning in the Spring. Snowmobile from the cabin to access 262 miles of groomed trail during winter months. Sledding Hill. Morel mushrooms are up throughout spring as soon as night temperatures are above freezing for a few days. Trout fishing is good in streams and rivers and back country lakes during the summer and fall months. Fall colors are best around the second and third week of October. By Thanksgiving we usually have some snow or a lot of snow some years and always lots of snow at Christmas. We do allow pets. Bring your horses and do some great back country trail riding. We do have 2 atv's to rent. Local Outfitters can be contacted for trail rides if you don't bring your own horses. There is a hot springs with large pool for a day of swimming year around (30 miles from cabins) or in the summer you can cool off in the many streams and rivers.

We aren't too far off the Lewis and Clark Trail. Take a day trip for an adventure in the Forest - Salmon River, Selway River, Hells Canyon - deeper than the Grand Canyon, Historical Trails, old wagon roads and historical gold mining sites.
Cabin is fully furnished with linens, furnished kitchen, full bathroom. No fireplace but an outside firepit. Just bring your clothes and groceries. Dish TV and phone (access internet for email and business). 6 twin beds, and one queen. Handicapped Accessible cabin available also.
