This auction is for an Airport Express 802.11n Wi-Fi Wireless Station. 

This is a gently used airport that looks and runs like brand new.

The AirPort Express Base Station now features 802.11n, the next-generation high-speed wireless technology included with most shipping Mac computers and some newer PCs with compatible cards.¹

Blazing performance.

Based on an IEEE 802.11n draft specification, AirPort Express features two antennas and uses a technology called multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) to transmit multiple data streams simultaneously. The result? AirPort Express delivers data transfer speeds up to five times those of previous-generation 802.11g wireless networks — while achieving up to twice the range.²

And with its support for both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless frequencies, AirPort Express reduces the possibility of interference from appliances and cordless phones that use the 2.4GHz frequency.

Compatible with 802.11a/b/g.
Most currently shipping Mac systems support the next-generation 802.11n technology in the AirPort Express Base Station.⁴ And AirPort Express is compatible with Mac computers, PCs, and wireless devices such as iPhone and iPod touch that use 802.11a, b, or g technologies. AirPort Express is Wi-Fi Certified for 802.11n draft 2.0, so you can rest assured that it works with other certified 802.11n draft 2.0 products.

1. The AirPort Express Base Station is based on an IEEE 802.11n draft specification and is compatible with IEEE 802.11a, IEEE 802.11b, and IEEE 802.11g. The following countries do not allow wide-channel operation: Austria, Latvia, Slovakia, and Spain.

2. Based on a comparison with Apple's 802.11g products. Comparison assumes AirPort Express network with 802.11n-enabled computer. Speed and range will be less if an 802.11a/b/g product joins the network. Accessing the wireless network requires an AirPort- or AirPort Extreme-enabled computer or other Wi-Fi Certified 802.11a/b/g-enabled computer. Actual performance will vary based on range, connection rate, site conditions, size of network, and other factors. Range will vary with site conditions.

3. Wireless Internet access requires a wireless-enabled computer, a base station or other access point, and Internet access (fees may apply). Some ISPs are not currently    compatible with AirPort Express. Wireless printing over USB requires a compatible printer and Mac OS X v10.2.7 or later, Windows XP, or Windows Vista.
4. All Mac computers with Intel Core 2 Duo and Intel Xeon processors except the Mac mini and the 1.83GHz iMac support the 802.11n technology in AirPort Express.
