The 176c up for auction has seen little use and is in excellent condition. You have to look hard under a light to find any surface imperfections, as they are virtually non-existent. This is considered a Marine GPS but it has Metro Guide version 5.0. With the internal antenna you can carry it, take it on the road or in the boat. External antennas are still sold on Ebay and many other stores. The original manual is missing but I am enclosing a full replacement PDF version (shown in photo in soft binder). It comes with the 12 volt lighter recptacle plug that also has a serial port for linking GPS to a computer or laptop for large screen viewing or mapping transfer functions. It has a stand a lone serial cable also and the NMEA cable for linking other input devices. It was turned on and cleared 7-19-2008. All systems checked out. The back light gets as bright as you want making viewing very sharp. Also included is a hand strap.
