I am asked more and more about these, so let me give a clearer answer. I got this in a large bag. I tested a few, and they proved to be low karat gold. However, some have since shown to have likely been electroplated. They all weigh the same amount. None are magnetic. Perhaps it is better to assume that they are plated, although very few have told me this.

This gold miniature krugerand, possibly at about 8 karat, is a miniature copy of the actual South African Krugerrand. It is 1.1 cm in diameter (not including the bale), and weighs .45 grams. Some have reported that these are HGE.
